WAHYU ALLAH DALAM TEOLOGI KARL BARTH: ANALISIS DAN IMPLIKASI TERHADAP PENAFSIRAN ALKITAB DI ERA KONTEMPORER

Perkembangan teologi Kristen menghadapi tantangan dari teologi liberal yang menekankan rasionalitas manusia dalam memahami Allah. Karl Barth, melalui pendekatan neo-ortodoksi, menolak kecenderungan ini dan menegaskan bahwa wahyu Allah hanya dapat ditemukan dalam Yesus Kristus. Pemikirannya berpengaruh besar terhadap konsep wahyu dan otoritas Alkitab dalam teologi Kristen modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran Barth mengenai wahyu dan otoritas Alkitab serta relevansinya bagi gereja masa kini. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi literatur, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi konsep Barth dalam konteks teologi kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Barth menekankan wahyu Allah sebagai tindakan ilahi yang berdaulat, yang hanya dapat dipahami melalui anugerah-Nya. Alkitab dipandang sebagai kesaksian terhadap wahyu, dengan bimbingan Roh Kudus sebagai kunci dalam penafsirannya. Kesimpulannya, pemikiran Barth memberikan kontribusi penting dalam menjembatani iman Kristen dengan tantangan intelektual modern tanpa mengorbankan otoritas wahyu.
